We recently took on a client with a Shopify store that was hit with a massive penalty in the Google 2020 Core Update . The site lost over 90% of it’s traffic and decimated revenue from organic traffic. How We Are Recovering The Site! While it certainly looked daunting, we are now seeing the first signs of a recovery and individual keywords are coming back, as is traffic. We are using Upviral.com for our launch strategy, to generate leads and build our email list even before we have the marketplace is live. I’ve used Upviral in the past, with limited results. However this time I went a bit deeper into the strategy and nitty gritty of using the platform. So far it’s worked super well, generating over 1200 highly targeted leads to our email list for around 33c per lead . Our goal is to generate 5000 leads onto out list at launch. We almost doubled affiliate commission revenue from January, at $2092 (at about 80% profit margin). Enter Google Surfaces If you haven’t heard of Google surfaces yet, it’s part of Google Merchant Centre, and it’s essentially an extension of Google shopping paid ads, that allows you to show your products in the the Google Shopping section of Google…….FREE.
